The event invites "leading thinkers and doers'' to speak for 18 minutes or less on an area of their expertise, each connected by a theme.
The theme of this year's event was "Connexions''.
Mark (15) and his father, Neil, made international headlines three years ago when they began using drones to check on hogget lambing on their 466ha farm in the Otama Valley in eastern Southland.
He was one of more than 10 people, including family lawyer Amy Scott, of Alexandra, who presented at the fourth annual TEDxQueenstown event, held at the Queenstown Memorial Centre.
