"Queenstown is one of the greatest party towns in New Zealand. It's a special place for people who like to have fun. Revolver is a nice intimate setting and it's great to be back, basking in their atmosphere."
The hard-working Hamilton-based band will play hits from its double platinum debut album Revival, platinum follow-up Slow Burning and platinum Say What You're Thinking.
The seven-piece, family-style collective returned from a 19-date tour of the west coast of the United States earlier this year.
"You have to do that many gigs to break the surface. It's so huge and so many bands over there," Mr Bell said.
"We've been received with open arms. Everybody gets into the sing-a-long vibe and dances to reggae music... We sold more albums in California than in the rest of the world put together."
The all-Maori reggae outfit is busy preparing for its next US tour of more than 20 gigs from July 15.
They have seven new tracks in the works for the next untitled album, set for a mid-2010 release.
"If we're not on the road, we're in the studio. We've said to ourselves let's try to do songs that we love to play, that are upbeat and a little bit more dancey."
