GPs' annual conference

Doctor from around New Zealand will be in Queenstown for the next four days at the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners' annual conference.

Academic programme convener Dr Hans Raetz, of Queenstown, said this year's conference would feature particularly extensive and accomplished scientific and research contributions.

A workshop, "The Alma Ata Convention - 30 Years On", will be presented by Prof George Salmon, who has long been involved in public health, primary care, workforce issues and health workforce development.
