Sixty-five under-6 to under-16 teams from Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell and Alexandra played to cheers from the crowd of parents and supporters under blue skies at the Queenstown Events Centre.

The next round will be in Wanaka this Sunday and the next Queenstown round on May 23.

The winners of the eight divisions in age groups will be decided on the finals day, which will be held in the resort for the second year, on June 27.
