Beginning at 7 o'clock, , dDub will play for the mountain crowd from the deck of the base building.
Ski Area manager Hamish McCrostie said the evening would be "electric".
"This is the big night ski out and everyone, including non-skiers, is invited for an evening of free live entertainment from dDub.
"It costs nothing to watch the band and people are welcome to come and enjoy the music as well as take a few runs on their skis or snowboard under the stars," he said.
Renowned for drawing the crowds, dDub is a regular visitor to Queenstown.
The band cites influences from Bob Marley through to Bob Dylan and Lee Scratch Perry in its "rock-roots-reggae-funk-ska" medley of tracks.
Mr McCrostie said dDub would play for just under two hours, and the bar and restaurant would be open until 9pm serving beverages and hot meals.
