The 62-year-old Queenstown man found dead in his car on Saturday night is believed to have died from a heart condition.
Mike Holloway was found in his car at a gravel pit near Shotover Delta Rd on Saturday at 8.30pm. He was reported to be loading a trailer with gravel before being found.
Mr Holloway was a lawyer.
He started Queenstown software development firm ActionStep Legal Systems in 2008 with business partner Ted Jordan.
Mr Holloway's funeral service will be held at 1.30pm on Friday at the City Impact Church.
The incident would not be recorded as a traffic incident or added to the Labour Weekend road toll, Queenstown police said.
