Planning for a congress of the finest hotel concierges in the world, being held in Queenstown in 2013, will be on the agenda in the resort this weekend during the Hotel Concierge Society Les Clefs d'Or New Zealand annual meeting.

The HCSNZ is a non-profit association of tourism industry professionals, with an invitation-only membership of New Zealand's best concierges.

Twenty-eight Clefs d'Or (golden key) members will be joined by three Australian Clefs d'Or Society members for the three-day meeting, being held at the Crowne Plaza from today until Sunday.

Crowne Plaza Queenstown's hotel leisure concierge, Nathan Wise, said the annual meeting was his opportunity to show off Queenstown's capability in terms of hosting world-class conferences.

During the meeting this weekend, concierges will hear from guest speakers from key New Zealand tourism companies. A trade show of local businesses is part of the planned activities.
