Australian travel agents head south

More than 50 travel agents from Australia are breaking away from the party of 255 agents attending Tourism New Zealand's ''Mega Famil'' in Auckland and venturing south to Queenstown and Wanaka this weekendThe 54 agents arrived in Queenstown yesterday.

Some will experience the Wakatipu and Wanaka districts over the weekend.

AJ Hackett Bungy, Gibbston Valley Winery, Skyline Gondola and Luge, TSS Earnslaw and Walter Peak Homestead will be among the attractions on their Queenstown itinerary.

Having arrived on Tuesday, the Australian frontline travel sellers were trained on tourism products before heading off to experience New Zealand on one of 12 itineraries around the country.
