The trust, in conjunction with the New Zealand Rural General Practice Network, is hosting its first fundraiser, which will include a gallery viewing and auction starting from 6.30pm.
Trustee Sue Ferry said bids had already been made for the artworks as well as some of the wine lots which would be offered.
"It's the sort of evening Pat would have enjoyed immensely.
"No auction was safe from his enthusiasm for New Zealand art and wine."
Works by artists Simon Kaan, Marilyn Webb, Bing Dawe, Simon Morrisson Deaker, and several other Otago-Southland artists will be auctioned.
Wine selections from Bannockburn, Gibbston, Lowburn-Pisa, and Bendigo will also be for sale.
Poet and balladeer Sam Hunt will entertain guests before the auction and Queenstown musicians Margaret O'Hanlon and the Master Blasters will perform during the evening.
Auction proceeds will support the trust's work to help people in the healthcare sector seeking continuing education or research in rural health.
For those who are unable to attend, bids can be submitted to info@patfarrytrust.co.nz.
All auction lots can be viewed on the trust's website www.patfarrytrust.co.nz.
