The Otago Daily Times Charity Challenge is a team challenge incorporating Top Town-type activities but with a distinctly rural flavour and possibly just a hint of Fear Factor to up the challenge.
Three teams of four will be competing, comprising two Top Town teams and a special North Otago A and P invitational team featuring local celebrities.
Each team will represent a local charity - North Otago Riding for the Disabled, North Otago SPCA, and Drive 2 Survive - with the winning team donating the $500 prizemoney to its respective charity.
The event will be compered by humourist, columnist and Waitaki district councillor Jim Hopkins.
The Oamaru Titans took part in Top Town which was filmed in Christchurch in December.
The revival of the popular television programme from the 1970s and 1980s will begin screening tomorrow night.
The Oamaru Titans will feature on March 1 - the day after the A and P show.
