A search warrant executed at an Oamaru address on Tuesday failed to locate a North Otago man with warrants out for his arrest.
Several officers and a dog handler from Dunedin converged on a Thames Highway property in north Oamaru about 5.30pm on Tuesday, after information was received from a member of the public on the whereabouts of Logan Nicholas Quinn.
The 25-year-old is wanted in relation to two outstanding warrants, one for failing to appear in court and another for breach of bail.
It is believed he is in the Oamaru or Hampden areas and is actively avoiding police, who have appealed to the public for information on Quinn's movements.
