The future design and layout of resource recovery parks to recycle waste in New Zealand will be influenced by an Oamaru woman.
Waitaki Resource Recovery Trust manager Marian Shore has been appointed to a national steering group by the Waste Management Institute of New Zealand.
The steering group will be involved in a resource recovery park design project.
It will be closely involved with the development of a guide for designing resource recovery parks and meet at critical points during the development process to ensure that different views and needs are represented and met.
