Revelling in one of the many free activities at Oamaru’s annual Friendly Bay Family Fun Day is Agna Elliott (2) of Oamaru.
She was only one of the many children making the most of the sunny day.
She had been to the family day in previous years, but was now old enough to enjoy it, although she did that in her own special way.
Rather than go down the bouncy castle’s slide, she rolled and jumped around inside as her parents waited with smiles.
Mayor Gary Kircher, who launched the day in 2016, was particularly happy with the turn-out of a couple thousand people.
He said said it did not matter how old children were as there was something for everyone, from face painting to bouncy castles, flag races, sandcastle building and kayaking.
And Agna had certainly found her "something".
