The roof was on and the windows were in and the electricians and plumbing subcontractors had started work, Mr Hood said this week. The East Otago Health Trust had raised $981,000, Mrs O’Connell said. There was only $19,000 to go to reach the target but further donations would be welcomed.
It was hoped the building would be handed over in August or September, Mrs O’Connell said.
