Living History NZ producer Scott Elliffe is heading to Adelaide next week to make a presentation at the Interpretation Australia conference.
The Interpretation Australia Association was formed to share issues and ideas, improve professional standards and raise the profile of heritage interpretation.
A history enthusiast with a background of marketing, including four years as manager of Totara Estate, Mr Elliffe created the Living History Players, a professional theatre troupe performing the live history show The Great Storm of 1868 in Oamaru.
The aim of Living History NZ was to develop world-class visitor experiences that brought alive a town's story by interpreting the past in highly creative ways.
He is one of the keynote speakers at the conference.
