Several hundred people enjoyed the ambience at the 12th Music in the Vines concert at Olssens Vineyard yesterday.

For the first time, two groups shared the bill at the annual event when Del Girl, with Neil Middlemiss and Vine Rush, provided the entertainment.

"We'd already lined up Neil and then Del Girl asked if they could play here too, so we thought why not have them both," John Olssen said.

The event had a family atmosphere with groups sitting on deck chairs and rugs spread out on the grass at the vineyard.

"We gets lots of people coming back each year, especially families, who make this concert a regular fixture in their holidays," he said.

It was overcast but mild weather for the concert, with a brief shower early in the afternoon.
