The event, hosted by the Waitaki branch of Jet Boating New Zealand, tested the skills of drivers and navigators.
It attracted 20 entries.
Results. - C. W. F. Hamilton Trophy (overall winner), Angus Chisholm (Christchurch) and Colin Chisholm (crew); boater of the year, Pete Steele (Otago) and Carl Jenner (crew); junior boater (15-21 years), Brayden Joyce (Waitaki) and James Joyce (crew); Lady Hamilton Trophy, Karen Whitmore (West Coast) and Shannon Jones (crew); teams' event, Angus Chisholm, John Goldingham and Chris Broadhead.
