The afternoon expo was held by Youthtown Oamaru to give young people a taste of the courses being offered this year.
These include the international kitchen - chef Rebecca Huston-Orme served free food - and courses on personal styling, 10-pin bowling, air-brushing art, film and television skills and mountain biking, held on Orana Park.
Most of the courses were aimed at year 5 to 13 pupils, although others such as 10-pin bowling catered for children from 5 years upwards.
