A dance organised to raise money for the North Otago Child Cancer Foundation will return this year by popular demand.
Last year's Dancing Under The Stars event, which was attended by Act New Zealand leader and former Dancing With The Stars contestant Rodney Hide, raised $4700.
One of the organisers, Sharon Greaney, said people kept asking when there was going to be another event.
Tables had already been booked for the Black and White dance night at St Kevins College on August 30, and Dunedin band Oxo Cubans would play.
An auction would also be held, with one of the lots for sale being a luxury getaway weekend for two in Queenstown.
Alan McLay's double-decker bus will transport dancegoers from the Portside restaurant to the school, stopping to make pick-ups along the way, she said.
