In recent years, the society has staged the competition in Oamaru shops to raise its profile.
This year's seven entries are on display this week in the former Avis Business shop.
The open section was won by Barbara Watt, with Elspeth Mitchell second and Helen Wallace, all of Oamaru, third.
The novice section was won by Colleen Waby, of Otekaieke.
Judge Viv Tumaru, of Waimate, said Mrs Watt's winning entry showed excellent use of silver threads and golden flowers for the theme of "Silver Threads Among the Gold".
