The family can have fun, and help out others less fortunate, at a Family Fun Day in Oamaru tomorrow.
One of the organisers of the day's entertainment, Katherine King, said the event at Orana Park, starting at 10am, would be bigger and brighter than the inaugural fun day held last year.
Families will be asked for a gold coin donation and the money raised will be split equally between Save the Children (Waitaki) and buying Christmas presents for distribution by Child, Youth and Family services.
Mrs King said entertainment for the fun day included a band, hip-hop dancers, belly-dancers and trampoline displays.
Various stalls will sell items ranging from food to jewellery. A waterslide, three-legged race, Santa Claus and a lolly scramble are some of the entertainments for children.
A draw for lucky numbers, printed on programmes, for three prizes would be the day's finale.
