Entries for the annual Oamaru Triathlon and Duathlon have been coming in thick and fast, more than 70 school-age competitors having registered for tomorrow's event.
This year, the event will also incorporate the South Island Secondary Schools Triathlon and Duathlon Championships, and organiser Diane Talanoa said schools from as far afield as Greymouth and Southland would take part.
''We have over 70 entries from schools already, which is great, and maybe 20 in the open event so far. But there will be some more coming in ... and usually there are quite a few entries on the day. But it's good to have all that support from schools.''
