The Electoral Commission sent out more than three million enrolment update packs this week,To be able to vote, people must be correctly enrolled.
Enrolment services national manager Murray Wicks said the packs were an opportunity for voters to check details were correct or to make any changes.
People who have not received an enrolment update pack this week will need to complete a new enrolment form.
Details can be updated at any Post Shop or electronically with details in the pack.
