Elliffe joins the board

The Oamaru Whitestone Civic Trust board has a new trustee, and another re-elected, results of the annual election announced this week reveal.

The new trustee is living history promoter and former Totara Estate manager Scott Elliffe and the trustee returned is Papakaio businessman Ian Hurst.

Oamaru businessman Barry Monks was not elected.

Trustee Carol Scott, who retired by rotation, did not seek re-election.

The successful candidates join Phil Hope (chairman), Marcus Brown, Michael Bolstridge, Peter Garvan, Graeme Clark and Graeme Martin on the board.
