Police are looking for a Danish tourist who has lost her pack containing most of her belongings in the Waitaki Valley.
The pack was found on State Highway 83, near the Waitaki dam, by a man walking his dog about 3.30pm on Tuesday, and handed to Oamaru police.
It appeared to have fallen from a bus, Sergeant Wayne Brew said yesterday.
A luggage tag identified it as belonging to Donte Storm Kristensen, of Denmark.
•A car belonging to a German couple was broken into between 8pm on Monday and 8.30am on Tuesday while it was parked at either the Countdown supermarket or Red Kettle youth hostel in Oamaru.
