The event, run by the Cromwell Lake Dunstan Lions to raise funds for youth activities, featured model trains, cars and trucks owned by 17 collectors.

Lions club member Ngaire Andrews said hundreds of people visited, and "Wow" was the comment most often heard as children saw the display for the first time.
