The event, hosted by Alexandra Out of School Care Holiday Programme, in conjunction with Puna Rangatahi, took place at the Alexandra Primary School yesterday afternoon.
About 50 children took part, tempted by the opportunity to cool off.
Among them was Max Keast (11, left) who watched as William Wright (10) got soaked during one of the afternoon’s many activities.
