Two artists' impressions of proposals for Roxburgh's redeveloped swimming pool are being circulated for comment.
The Roxburgh Community Board yesterday considered images of the proposed pool by Buchan Design and Calder Stewart Industries and decided to seek the public's views.
The Central Otago District Council's long-term council community plan has $1 million allowed for the pool project and $74,000 annual operating costs, from 2011.
Submissions on the plan close on May 5.
Board chairman Stephen Jeffery said no decision had been made yet on a final design for the pool or all the features the complex would include.
However, it would be an outdoor, heated pool and the board hoped it would be run by a community trust.
Board member John Lane said the estimated annual operating cost of $74,000 was the "worst case scenario".
