Central Otago locals can now get their hands on tickets for the region’s biggest annual event.
Alexandra Blossom Festival tickets hit the shelves tomorrow with the expectation the Covid-19 alert levels will shift to Level 1 next week.
Festival event manager Martin McPherson said Locals Tickets — formerly known as the Earlybird tickets — would go on on sale around Alexandra in local shops, banks and dairies, and in visitor centres in Roxburgh, Ranfurly and Central Otago District Council service centres until Friday, September 25.
Alexandra Unichem Pharmacy will have tickets and eftpos will be available.
Locals Tickets cost a flat rate of $5 each and children under 5 are free.
Due to the late confirmation of the festival there are no online ticket sales this year, but out-of-town visitors can get their tickets at the gate on the day for $9. Children under 5 get in free.
