Traffic is down to a single lane near Cromwell after a car crash brought down power lines this morning.
The crash on State Highway 6, near the intersection with Smiths Way, occurred just before 8.30am.
A police spokesman said the crash involved a car and a truck with one of the vehicles hitting a power pole beside the road.
No-one appeared to be injured.
A Fire Service spokesman said firefighters had reduced the road to one lane, though traffic was still flowing, and were awaiting the power authority to hand the incident over to them.
