Cromwell's $3.3 million Swim Centre is expected to open again in November, upon completion of the re-development and cleaning of its interior, which was extensively smoke-damaged during an electrical fire in June.
Breen Construction Ltd, which built the complex, is working to repair damage caused by the June 12 fire, when a water suction device shorted and set alight plastic grating alongside the main lap pool.
Full costs of the damage are not yet known.
