The Central Otago District Council will this week be considering parking restrictions for Clyde.

A report will go before the council today to consider implementation options for parking restrictions in the Clyde business area.

With the recent growth within the region, the Clyde business area has become a more popular destination for visitors and locals alike. This has led to an increased demand for parking, which the council is looking at ways to manage.

One of the options in the report is adding a 120-minute parking zone on both sides of Sunderland St between Naylor St and Lodge Lane to the roading bylaw schedule.
