The Cromwell Golf Club needs more toilets.
The club wrote to the Cromwell Community Board asking for a $10,000 grant and for permission to use $3000 of the rent it pays the council for the land to build additional toilets.
The board agreed the club needed to use its rent money first so agreed to allow $10,000 to be given to the club for the work.
The club would have to raise the remaining $3000.
The club would also have to supply evidence that all the money was available before the board paid out the $10,000.
The plan is to install toilets at the fifth hole to ensure all players are catered for.
