All roads led to Roxburgh on Sunday for the fourth annual Roxburgh and Districts Rotary Club Classic Car Rally.
The rally and display of more than 110 vehicles in the Roxburgh Area School grounds attracted a steady stream of visitors all day.
Event organiser Dennis Kirkpatrick was pleased.
"It's growing each year as it's getting well known and there's been an especially good turnout this year," he said.
Proceeds from the event have yet to be tallied, but will be used for walkway projects.
The rally featured many types of cars, trucks and motorcycles, from vintage and classic vehicles to custom-built and modern machines.
"The aim was to give them a place to show off their vehicles.
"Roxburgh is only two hours away from most places so the car owners can drive here, spend a couple of hours and then head home.
"It's a nice run," Mr Kirkpatrick said.
Jim Bennett, of Dunedin, displayed several cars he had designed.
One - a child-size replica of a Morgan three-wheeler from the early 1930s - proved popular especially with the younger rally-goers.
It was powered by a mobility scooter electric motor and could travel at 7kmh-8kmh.
It was originally constructed for his grandson, who was now 17, but there were "three more" grandchildren now lining up to use it, Mr Bennett said.
