More than 400 primary school children competed in the Central Otago Primary School Sports Association (COPSSA) championships in Alexandra yesterday.

Dunstan zone representative Mike Dalgliesh said schools from all over Central Otago, Upper Clutha, the Maniototo, Roxburgh and Millers Flat all competed in the events.
