Final dip in pool

Roxburgh's swimming pool received a good "send-off" yesterday with about 60 people attending what is likely to be the last pool party at the facility.

After six years of debate about the location and scope of the project, concept plans are being prepared for a new $1.6 million two-pool centre on the existing site.

The new complex is a joint venture between the Central Otago District Council and Roxburgh Area School.
