Police are still looking for a knife used in a Cromwell stabbing during the weekend.
It is believed a hunting-style knife with a blade 150mm long and 25mm wide was used in the attack.
Police said the knife might have been dumped in the area of Antimony Cres, Waenga Dr and Wishart Cres.
Anyone who finds a knife fitting this description in the area should hand it into the Cromwell Police Station.
A Cromwell man was arrested soon after the incident. He remains in custody and will appear in Queenstown District Court on Monday 27 June.
The victim of the stabbing remains in hospital in a stable condition.
