Vincent Community Board ratepayers look set to have a 10.2% increase in their community board rates next financial year.
The board this week approved the increase, which will now be included in the Central Otago District Council's draft 2019-20 annual plan.
The increase is only on the community board rates. District ward and district-wide council rates are still to be struck and publicised.
A report from council corporate services executive manager Bernard Murphy said the 10.2% community board rates increase was mainly due to higher staff costs, costs to upgrade the Alexandra Memorial Theatre and engineering fees for the Clyde Museums.
