"Something Worth Seeing?"
South Auckland Poets Collective
Q What's your act all about?
A "Something Worth Seeing?' uses the dynamic mix of spoken word, poetry and music to share the stories of 10 poets who work, play and live in South Auckland. Our poetry is raw and unedited; inspired by the world that we see through our eyes and those who surround us. If you think poetry is boring, let us change your mind.
Q Why will Dunedin audiences enjoy it?
A Poetry in a form that you can't ignore. It will challenge and inspire you, make you laugh and make your cry.
Q What do you know about Dunedin?
A That it is cold. Very cold. Also that you are a community that appreciates the arts.
Q What makes you laugh?
A South Auckland Poets Collective meetings and rehearsals.
• The South Auckland Poets Collective performs "Something Worth Seeing?" at 7.30pm tomorrow in Burns Hall.
