Two arrested after suspected P lab found in Invercargill

Police are questioning two men after a raid on a suspected P lab in Invercargill this morning.

The men, aged 29 and 44, both from Christchurch, were arrested after armed police executed a search warrant on a motel in Tay Street around 9am.

Items that could be used for manufacturing methamphetamine were found at the motel unit.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brian Cowie said specialist staff from the ESR Clan Lab team would be arriving tomorrow to conduct a thorough scene examination.

He said it was the first suspected P Lab located in Invercargill.
