Two men have this afternoon been found guilty of murdering Wairarapa man Paul Irons.
Another man was found guilty of manslaughter.
A jury at the High Court in Wellington returned the verdicts of guilty for Shaun Mihaka Sullivan, 26, and Rangitera Spencer Walker, 16, in relation to the October 2008 killing in Featherston, The Dominion Post reported.
Co-accused Andrew Dean Kupa-Caudwell, 18, was found guilty of manslaughter.
Mr Irons, 36, died in hospital five days after he was set upon by the men in the early hours of October 9.
His injuries included two fractures to his jaw, a fractured eye socket, a punctured lung and internal bleeding.
Sullivan, Kupa-Caudwell and Walker denied murdering Mr Irons.
They will be sentenced in February.
