Rural safety is the theme of the 143rd South Otago A and P Show in Balclutha next month.
New show secretary Janine Ogden said rural safety was an increasing concern, from driving and using roads, ATVs, stock and chemicals, hunting, fishing and recreation.
All aspects of rural safety and how the farming community can prevent hazards and danger on the land will feature at the show to be held at the showgrounds on November 27 and 28.
The society is inviting clubs, societies and businesses with an interest in rural safety to attend and promote what they have to offer.
