The woman charged with the murder of three-year-old Cherish Tahuri-Wright has kept her name suppression today.
The 56-year-old appeared in Wanganui District Court and was remanded in custody to reappear on May 11.
Cherish died at Wellington Hospital on February 19, two days after being found with head injuries at a house in Marton.
