North Dunedin houses have been targeted by thieves over the weekend.
Senior Sergeant Shona Low, of Dunedin, said an Apple laptop and about $50 cash was stolen from a house in Grange St overnight on Sunday.
A window was damaged at a house in Heriot Row in North Dunedin on the same night.
"Someone tried to get in and couldn't," Snr Sgt Low said.
