Man in court over road rage incident

The name of a Rotorua man accused of shooting a man twice in the face during a road rage attack has been revealed in Rotorua District Court.

Richard Marsters, 49, appeared in the court charged with attempted murder, the Rotorua Daily Post reported.

It was alleged he attacked a 32-year-old two weeks ago, shooting the man twice in the face and once in the arm with a pistol in an apparent road rage incident.

Marsters entered no plea and Judge Phillip Cooper remanded him in custody to reappear in court on December 3.
