The Wānaka Showgrounds and Pembroke Park were packed on Friday for the Wānaka A&P Show, one of New Zealand’s largest agricultural, pastoral and community events.

The show, which was opened by Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, was expected to draw more than 40,000 people by the time it wrapped up on Saturday.
