She didn't win a Golden Globe but Lorde made the most of her night out in Hollywood, catching up with celebrity besties Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.
The Yellow Flicker Beat singer cuddled up to her friends, posing for photos at the InStyle and Warner Brothers after-party and mingling with other A-listers.
The Grammy Award-winner also took the opportunity to network, chatting to Hollywood power producer Harvey Weinstein.
The Auckland teenager changed out of her black Narciso Rodriguez suit for the after party, swapping her black midriff-baring top for an identical white version and adding black boots to the outfit.
She also removed the multi-million dollar Neil Lane diamond necklace that she wore to the award ceremony.
Earlier in the night, she told E! host Ryan Seacrest that she didn't know how much the jewellery was worth but it was going straight back to the store at the end of the night.
Lorde had been nominated for Best Original Song - Motion Picture, for her efforts on the Mockingjay Part 1 with track Yellow Flicker Beat, but the award went to John Legend and Common's collaboration Glory for the civil rights film Selma.
