Mrs Scott was nominated for her work with Milton Meals on Wheels, where she has volunteered since 1990.
She said she enjoyed her work with the group, as it allowed her to catch up with those on her delivery round and have a chat, while providing a service to the community.
"I’m a bit embarrassed to be nominated, as I’m only one of many volunteers here, although I’m very grateful both to Silver Fern Farms and my nominator."
Mrs Scott said she "loved" roast lamb, and would share the prize with her husband.
"My favourite is cold lamb sandwiches the day after. Nothing to beat that with a bit of mint jelly."
