Tickets to a charity brunch in Cromwell with restaurateur Fleur Sullivan, and chef, author and television presenter Peta Mathias yesterday sold out in just 10 minutes.

Mike Paardekooper, from Paper Plus, in Cromwell, invited the pair to team up for book signings. Ms Sullivan's Fleurs Place and Ms Mathias's book Can we help it if we're fabulous? have both recently been launched, and Mr Paardekooper decided to hold the charity brunch with all proceeds going to Cure Kids.

The pair also spent time at the Cromwell farmers market, where their books sold as fast as they could sign them.

Ms Sullivan's illustrated book includes her recipes and those supplied by her chef Simon Peacock.

Ms Mathias in her book shares the wisdom she has gained over the years of living outrageously.
