One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in the Tasman district yesterday evening.
Police were notified of the crash, on Main Rd in Hope, southwest of Nelson, about 6.15pm.
The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene, police said in a statement this morning.
Inquiries are continuing.
